Our customer Stephen recently made an amazing briefcase from our leather and materials. You can see over 200 photos of the briefcase and his build process here along with the cake his wife made to celebrate.
Stephen has been only working for a year on his leathercraft but his hard work and practice definitely paid off in his latest creation.
This is amazing!!! Great work Stephen. What stitch length is that?
Thanks! This is stitched at 8.5 SPI, or with 3mm between every hole. The thread is 532 Lin Cable.
Stunning workmanship and design. Love everything about it.
We thought so too! Thanks for chiming in, Angelita!
This looks brilliant! Looking forward to reviewing the full set of photos.
Thanks for taking a look, Becky!
This is beautifully done. It’s hard to believe you’ve only been doing this for a year. You have a great talent for this, and a nice eye for leather choices. Well done.
This is an awesome work. Very detailed and clean, great choice of leather. You are very good my friend!!!!!

Stephen,
Your leather work is beautiful! I am in awe of your quality and artistry after one year. Any suggestions as to how you were able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time? Classes? Books?
Thank you,
Karen
Where can I find the high-quality hardware? Specifically, I am looking for a reversible men’s belt buckle. Thanks!
Thanks for the details and photos on the build!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for reading!
So beautiful! And that mid-century modern coat rack is to die for, too.
Glad you enjoyed this, Gina!
Very good quality, with more then a nod to Hermes. I’d have preferred to see something original in design not a replica, but well done anyway.
We thought so too, Paul!
Impressive results after one year practicing only ! I am also working with leather for one year now and i did not dare taking on such large project (yet).
I marked down two tips that will solve difficulties i had with glue : cement art eraser to get rid of excesss and waxed paper for sticking pieces with peace of mind ! Thanks !
Agreed! Glad that our article was helpful for you! Keep in touch.
