The FN series irons are a variation of the F irons. The FN irons have a more gradual curve and softer, wider mark. Like the F irons, they have a have two edges – one that rides on the side of your leather edge, and one that rides on the top of the leather. The iron heats the wax and paint on the leather’s edge, creating a smooth and even surface. It also creates a small decorative line on the top of the leather. The numbers correspond to the distance in millimeters between distance of the creased mark to the edge of the leather. Additional wider sizes are available in the F variation.
