Many burnishers are designed with grooves optimized for their machining rather than leatherworking. We chose our rungs based on the more common project thicknesses. This means a better fit when slicking edges. I also reduced the groove depth so you don’t accidentally burnish the faces of your project. Lastly, I added flat grooves for more square edges. Both groove types are conveniently housed in one tool.
